Solutions inspired by nature and tailored to your needs

Our systems for the reuse of treated wastewater (REUSE) are inspired by natural purification processes. These sustainable and autonomous alternatives are designed to satisfy a wide range of customers. They are suitable for detached houses, tourist sites (campsites, holiday cottages, cabins), agricultural projects or apartment buildings. Depending on your requirements, they can be used for watering green spaces, flushing toilets or cleaning outside.

The systems developed by Aquatiris are sustainable so as to avoid the need for rework. The products used are locally sourced and you benefit from an efficient installation.

Our wastewater treatment solutions also stand out for their ease of maintenance and their efficiency. The work carried out by Aquatiris experts is covered by a warranty. This measure reinforces the confidence of the public (individuals, professionals and local authorities).

The different stages of the REUSE project with our company

The implementation of a treated wastewater reuse system requires a methodical and rigorous approach. At Aquatiris, we have developed a structured, multi-stage process that covers the entire life cycle of the REUSE project. This comprehensive approach guarantees the achievement of a suitable solution that meets technical and health requirements.

The inventory and verification of project compliance

The first stage is an in-depth visit to the site (house, farm, etc.) in order to assess the conditions for installing the treated wastewater reuse system. Our Aquatiris experts carry out a detailed examination of the plot, its soil and its hydrological characteristics. They take into account your preferences in terms of landscaping to ensure the successful development and integration of the system into your space.

The construction work and the conformity check

After the project has been approved, the Aquatiris experts put together a team of experienced installers to set up the treated wastewater reuse system.

A manufacturer’s inspection is carried out at the end of the installation of the treated wastewater reuse system. Our aim is to check that the system complies with the requirements of the initial project. We also issue you with a certificate of quality and reliability of the installation.

Maintenance of the installed solution

Excellent monitoring guarantees the proper functioning and durability of the treated wastewater reuse system. We offer a regular maintenance service that includes checking the components of the installed system. This maintenance can also be carried out by you, using the guide provided when the treated wastewater reuse system was commissioned. The document specifies the schedule of the recommended interventions. It describes the operations to be carried out and provides advice on how to identify any malfunctions. In addition, our service includes performance analysis, if you so wish.

Wastewater reuse solutions tailored to your needs

In the current context, the reuse of treated wastewater helps to combat water scarcity. Our network specialising in phyto-purification has developed interesting solutions for the irrigation of gardens and green spaces, among other things. These technologies are part of a circular economy approach as they transform waste and reduce drinking water consumption.

PhytoReuse

Domestic wastewater accounts for more than 70% of the total volume produced by a household. These liquids generally come from sinks, washbasins, showers and washing machines. Our PhytoReuse solution is based on the natural treatment of these resources, with the exception of those from toilets. We use bio-based filter materials and specific plants to achieve our objectives. Thanks to our technology, wastewater is freed of the main pollutants and used to irrigate green spaces. PhytoReuse contributes to the efficient recycling of water resources and reduces potential health risks. It works on the basis of a filtration system, where the treated water is stored and redistributed as needed.

This system preserves biodiversity as it maintains soil quality and reduces the carbon footprint through the use of bio-based materials. It saves drinking water and guarantees safe treatment in accordance with current standards. Its use promotes sustainable development and improves the resilience of territories in the face of periods of drought.

Maintaining our REUSE system designed and manufactured in France is fairly easy. Simple weeding, annual cutting of plants and emptying of the water storage during the winter are recommended. Call on the expertise of Aquatiris professionals today to install PhytoReuse, our treated wastewater reuse system.

Skywater Clear

We also use the innovative Skywater Clear system to facilitate the reuse of domestic wastewater from washbasins, sinks, showers and washing machines. It filters and purifies these liquids using a phyto-purification process on the roof of the building. This method relies on the action of macrophytic plants and micro-organisms. The installation of our system reduces drinking water consumption and makes better use of available resources. The direct integration of the Skywater Clear system into the roofs helps to reduce environmental risks. Its use contributes to a more efficient management of resources and responds to the current challenges of sustainable development and the circular economy.

The Skywater Clear system works in several stages to promote the reuse of wastewater. The water is channelled to roofs where it passes through a filter medium containing bio-based materials. It is then purified by percolation through a vegetated substrate, where micro-organisms break down the residual contaminants. Finally, the treated water is disinfected and filtered before being used for a range of domestic purposes (toilets, irrigation of green spaces).

Skywater Clear is an innovative and sustainable solution developed with Soprema for territories and local authorities. It helps to reduce drinking water consumption and create islands of coolness in urban areas.
