Our expertise
Designing nature-based solutions
We believe that a network can no longer be merely an economic player: it must embody meaning and values, and strive to fulfil its mission whilst prioritising the well-being of each of its members, as well as the ecosystem and the environment around it. Since then, we have strived to do things properly, with common sense and transparency. Whilst respecting everyone we encounter along the way. And then, we dare to ask the difficult questions: why, how… so that, from start to finish, our actions have a positive impact, both socially and environmentally.
Our mission: to take action to preserve nature
We work in the environmental sector because we must all take action to preserve nature. Our product stands out in the sanitation market: it is hardy, attractive and effective. It is a garden that helps to preserve the biodiversity of wetlands… Choosing a Phytoremediation Garden means combining practicality with pleasure – why not make the most of it?
All our experts are committed men and women who put their knowledge to work for the environment.
A long-standing leader in phytoremediation
Innovative, pioneering and dynamic, Aquatiris is the national benchmark and leader in phytoremediation. We are recognised by official bodies (Ministries, Regional Health Agencies (ARS), Public Services for On-site Wastewater Treatment (SPANC), etc.) and participate in various working groups organised by these bodies, putting our experience in on-site wastewater treatment (ANC) and our expertise in phytoremediation at the service of the industry.
Technical performance
According to a study conducted by IRSTEA (a French research laboratory working for the Ministries of Health and the Environment) in 2017, the ‘Jardins d’Assainissement’ – Iris range – are recognised as the most efficient and reliable approved system, reflecting our high standards in terms of quality and sustainability
French manufacturing and quality standards
At Aquatiris, quality is first and foremost about mastering our solutions. That is why we have chosen to design and assemble our products in France, prioritising local expertise and short supply chains.
Our Wastewater Treatment Gardens and our PhytoCompact solution are the only wastewater treatment systems on the market to carry the ‘Origine France Garantie’ label.
The structures of our products are manufactured using rotational moulding, a process that produces robust, durable and recyclable components. This choice guarantees the longevity of our installations and the long-term satisfaction of our customers.
For us, ‘Made in France’ is much more than just a place of origin: it is a commitment to quality, sustainability and trust.
Supporting employment in France
All our products are assembled at our headquarters in France. We also prioritise short supply chains and local sourcing. That is why the plants and aggregates used in our drainage systems are sourced from the region where the client’s site is located, thereby supporting local jobs. Finally, our network comprises local experts. In this way, we help to maintain knowledge and skills in France and across the regions, supporting over 300 jobs throughout the country!
Manufacturing
Because we feel at home in the west of France, the adventure continues there. Once the parts have been manufactured, they are assembled and then stored in our own workshop. We therefore manage order fulfilment and dispatch to our phytoremediation experts as close to you as possible.
Aggregates and plants
Wherever you are in France, within 200 km, a nursery and a quarry supply the plants and aggregates for your future system.
With you and thanks to you
Aquatiris is the French leader in constructed wetlands, but we also know that there is always room for improvement. That is why we are constantly striving to improve, whilst upholding our social and environmental values.
If you have any ideas or suggestions on how we can improve, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Research and Innovation
Water is one of the major challenges of the 21st century. To stay ahead of climate and regulatory changes, Aquatiris continuously invests in research and development through its engineering centre based in Schiltigheim.
Our work focuses in particular on the reuse of treated wastewater, nature-based solutions, greening of buildings and the adaptation of regions to climate change.
Projects recognised under the France 2030 programme
In 2026, Aquatiris was named among the winners of the InnovEau call for projects, led by ADEME as part of the France 2030 programme. This recognition honours two innovative projects addressing the challenges of water resource conservation and adaptation to climate change.
The PhytoReut project, led by Aquatiris, aims to develop a new generation of planted filters that facilitate the reuse of treated wastewater. The Phytotoiture project, carried out in partnership with Soprema, explores the integration of phytoremediation directly onto rooftops to treat and recover greywater within buildings.
These projects illustrate our commitment to devising nature-based solutions that will help meet the challenges of sustainable water management in the years to come.
